Eduard Models 1/48 MiG-21BIS Weekend Edition Overview
This is an Eduard Models 1/48 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 (NATO reporting name "Fishbed"), a Cold War era Soviet developed supersonic jet fighter aircraft. Model kit features: Kit has engraved panel lines, highly detailed cockpit and wheel wells, exhaust pipe with turbine and afterburner elements, optional position speed brakes and canopy, separate control surfaces and flaps and RATO pods. Also includes external stores: 800L drop tank, 490L drop tanks (x2), S-24 rockets (x2), missiles (2 each R-60, RS-2US, R-3S, R-13, R-3R) FAB 250 bombs (x2) and FAB 100 bombs (x8). No masks or photo-etch parts included. Decals and color painting guide for a single aircraft of the Hungarian Air Force: 'Red 1874' of Izdelye 75AP, 2nd 'Boszorkany' Squadron, 31st 'Kapos' Tactical Fighter Wing at Taszár AB, September 1991.
