Trumpeter 1/48 MiG23M Flogger B Russian Fighter Model Kit Overview

This is a Trumpeter 1/48 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the MiG-23M (NATO reporting name: "Flogger-B"), the first truly mass-produced variant of the Cold War era Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 variable-geometry fighter aircraft. Model kit features: Kit features fine engraved panel lines, fully appointed cockpit and ejection seat, intake trunk, well detailed engine afterburner section, choice of open or closed exhaust nozzle, positionable ventral fin, well rendered undercarriage and wheel bays, pivoting wings, ventral gun pod, filigree fuselage fittings and 2-piece canopy. Also includes photo-etch parts (seatbelts, intake ramp insert, speed brake detail, canopy mirrors, other fine accents) and external stores (missile rails, drop tanks, PTB-800 and missiles (2 each) R-3R, R-13M, R-13M1R-23R, R-23T, R-24R, R-24T, R-60). Decals and color painting guide for a single Soviet aircraft: 'Yellow 49' - includes instruments, data stencils and weapons markings. 260 plus parts, 14 sprues, and tail spout.
